Tara & John’s beautiful wedding took place at the London Club – what a great venue to be at! This was our second time shooting there and it was a great experience (HRM is looking forward to quite a few weddings there in 2011) Even though we caught a few rain drops towards the end of their photo session, looking back you can’t even tell in the photos! We had so much fun with Tara & John and their wedding party during their photo session. Congrats to Tara & John!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Modern & Elegant.
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Putting on my dress and walking down the aisle
Groom: Hanging out with my family and groomsmen before the wedding, watching Tara walk down the aisle & ripping up the dance floor after dinner.
Best wedding related decision: We were very happy with our choice of venue for our wedding. David Unger is the event co-ordinator at the London Club and is very organized and detail oriented. Up there with our venue choice was the decision to extend our HRM photographers to include the reception. Alison and Niki were so much fun and they did such a professional job!
Favourite detail: The handmade sugar flowers on our cake. Denyse’s Specialities did an amazing job!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Make the big wedding decisions as early as possible and really enjoy the whole planning process. It goes by so fast!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? The day was just perfect. We would not change a thing!
Best surprise of the day: Actually, we were surprised at how calm we both were on our wedding day. All the planning and time that went into the day allowed us to be relaxed and simply enjoy the wedding.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): We love the picture of us kissing in the wine cellar as it is a very classic picture. Also, the picture of Tara entering the London Club was really beautiful and showed her genuine excitement.
Anything else you’d like to add: Alison and Niki truly did a great job! Not only were their pictures great but they were more than happy to help with the little details throughout the day (Alison thought to bring extra bobby pins, just in case).
